Our world is full of conflict. It seems like in nearly every area of life, there is cause for division. But as Christians, we are called to be peacemakers. But what does that mean? Is it a call to be silent? Is it a call to avoid contentious issues? Are we to be passive? When we look at Scripture, we see that that’s not the case. Jesus, the ultimate Peacemaker, did not model silence, avoidance, and passivity. Jesus made peace; He is the Prince of Peace. But what is peace? In the Bible, peace is so much more than the absence of conflict. In this episode, we talk about this true peace and discuss what it means to be peacemakers in a divisive world.
